Alexandria Virginia wedding film
Here it is, the first film of 2016, and what a beautiful invitation, to travel east to Alexandria, in the grip of winter, a day before the heavens opened and blanketed the city in snow. Winter light on vintage film produces the most incredible deep blue tones, shadow, depth, creating an altogether different kind of beauty to summer weddings. Thank you Alexandra and Cameron for having me along, for introducing me to your amazing family and for the opportunity to play with new light in a new town.
'We were drawn to Mark and his beautiful talent of capturing romance via Super 8mm film. The two of us wanted something to hold onto that showcased not only the moments, but the feelings. This gave us all the feels!
Mark worked his magic and included our closest family and friends in many emotional shots, which was something we were really hoping for. We wanted to look back at this and see how much love was involved in the day. Mark's work really demonstrates how to make all of those fragments shine through in a single short film.
Mark is so very personable and envelopes himself in your entire weekend. I'm convinced that's how he is able to piece this all together-down to his selection of music. Without a doubt, you will be so thankful for booking Mark to film your wedding. ' -Alexandra
